INTERESTED IN ONE OF OUR PUPPIES?

WHAT DOES MY NEW PUPPY COME WITH?

Salty Golden puppies come with their first round of shots and deworming, a FL Health Certificate, a blanket that smells like their mom, and a sample of Life's Abundance, a collar, leash, bowls and toys!

Our puppies also come with the beginning training stages of Potty Training and Crate Training to make the transition coming home to you a little easier.

DO YOU HEALTH TEST YOUR DOGS?

Yes, our breeding dogs are or will be appropriately health tested to ensure we breed healthy happy puppies. We work with OFA to test Hips and Elbows on our Golden Retrievers.

PUPPY DEPOSITS

The first step to owning a Salty Golden is to email us to get on the Waiting List. Once the litter is born, we will collect $500 deposits to hold your puppy.

ORDER OF PICKING MY PUPPY

The order that you are placed on the waiting list is the order you will pick your puppy. Puppies will be selected when they reach 6 weeks of age. This ensures we can tell you the temperament of the puppy and if they will thrive in your specific family environment.

WHEN CAN I VISIT MY PUPPY?

You can visit the litter of puppies when they are 6 weeks old for Puppy Picking Day. We want to make sure that our puppies stay healthy so we limit their exposure until their immune systems have strengthened. We will have visiting dates where you can come and meet your new puppy.

WHEN CAN I PICK UP MY PUPPY?

You can pick up your puppy when they reach 8 weeks of age. In Florida, it is required that puppies are a minimum of 8 weeks old to go to their new home. At this time, they will get their first round of shots and their health certificate and then they may go on to join your family.

WHERE ARE THE PUPPIES RAISED?

We have a strict NO KENNEL policy so all of our dogs and puppies are kept inside with us and treated like family. They will never be outside in a kennel. We raise our puppies in our whelping room and then they move to the growing puppy room when they are around 3-4 weeks of age to spread out and explore.

PUPPY SOCIALIZATION

All of our puppies are played with and handled DAILY to ensure they are well adjusted when they go to their new homes. We add open crates to their play area when they are 6 weeks old so they can slowly be introduced to the idea of a crate. We recommend crate training your puppy so this allows them to be less fearful of crates when they go home with you.

LIFELONG MEMBER OF THE SALTY GOLDEN FAMILY

When you buy a puppy from Salty Goldens, we ensure if there is ever a problem or family change, that we will take the puppy or dog back no questions asked. All of our puppies have a lifelong home with us no matter what.
